The role

Phaseshift's first Forward Deployed Engineer: a backend and product engineer who works directly with the operators of batteries, solar, data center power systems and manufacturing lines. You embed with customers, work out what they need, and build it in Go, either in the core platform or as integrations and applications on its APIs and AI interfaces. You also take over technical demos, pilots and onboarding from the CTO.

Remote, with travel to customer sites
$100,000 with equity

Who fits

A strong backend engineer (Go, or fast to get there from another systems language) with product sense, who likes being in front of customers and wants to learn how industrial equipment behaves. Energy, utilities, data center, industrial controls, time series or LLM tooling experience is a plus, not a requirement.
