Two-year full-time fellowship for under-resourced founders, intended to substitute for early family-and-friends funding.
Individuals from under-resourced backgrounds who have earned a degree or credential, residents of Durham or the Research Triangle Region, pursuing entrepreneurship as a viable post-secondary pathway.

Graduate program offering experience reviewing SEED grant applications, researching applicants and joining review meetings with NC IDEA staff, investors and specialists.
Six graduate students with an interest in startups and entrepreneurship. Targets first-year MBA students; second-year MBA students and students in related graduate programs may also apply.

The $1,000 semester stipend is paid after successful completion. Academic credit may replace the stipend. At approximately 10 hours per week, the modest stipend may make participation difficult without other financial support. Actual semester weeks are not specified.
