RA Capital Management, L.P. is a Boston-based healthcare and life-sciences crossover investor, founded in 2004 by Vertex co-founder Richard Aldrich, investing across private and public markets. It leads seed and venture rounds, anchors IPOs, and provides follow-on public-market and structured capital. A separate Planetary Health Fund backs climate, minerals, energy, and agriculture companies with near-term commercialization paths.
