Triangle Angel Partners
Member-managed angel fund organized in the Research Triangle in 2011, with members voting on each investment. Its first fund closed on $2.8 million and its second on $4.8 million. Portfolio companies included Adzerk (now Kevel), which bought the fund out in two tranches, Carpe, FilterEasy (now Second Nature) and iScribes, per early member and two-year president Jan Davis on NC Tweener Talks in November 2024. A member survey found too little interest in a third fund, and several of its organizers went on to form RTP Angel Fund in 2023.
