Arpio closed a $15 million Series A for cloud disaster recovery, the largest Triangle round of the week and a second act for its ex-Bandwidth founders. And Bullhouse opened its downtown Durham space, a founder living room pairing free coworking with first checks from $5,000 up to $100,000 SPVs.

Closed a $15M Series A led by S3 Ventures and Paladin Capital Group.

Arpio automates cross-account, cross-region recovery for cloud workloads. The Series A adds Draper Associates, Uncorrelated, Valor Ventures, CreativeCo Capital, and Lookout Ventures. Founders Doug Neumann and Shaw Terwilliger came out of Bandwidth, and the company raised an $8.2M seed in 2023. It is the largest disclosed Triangle round of the week.
